Being a child shouldn’t have to hurt. There is hope! The most immediate goal in working with a child or teen is to provide relief. Kids need tools, strategies and real-life solutions that work!

Miss Audra is warm, supportive and non-judgmental. She helps kids to devise a plan to reduce anxiety, anger or frustration and teach them how to feel happier and create success.

Therapy is really a method to optimize and become the best version of yourself.

How many sessions do I need and for how long?

We start with a comprehensive assessment to obtain a full understanding of your concerns. The assessment will result in a list of recommendations that we use to create therapy goals to help provide relief, harmony and happiness.

Group therapy is fun and the kids learn a lot of lessons in a short amount of time! It is called a “Pizza Party” because we always order pizza and desserts. We eat while we LEARN and PRACTICE our lessons. At the end of group, we practice sportsmanship skills on the switch, card games, or board games.

WHO? Group is available for children and adolescents ages 2nd to 12th grade.

WHEN? Group is after school on different days of the week for different age groups.

WHAT? During group, your child will be learning a plethora about social and emotional regulation skills such as:

• 15 Ways to get positive attention
• 10 “Friend Repellents” that will make others not want to be around you
• 15 Conversation Starters
• How to act so others will like you
• Conversation Skills
• Anger management strategies
• Ways to improve self esteem
• Social problem-solving strategies
• Compromising
• Thought Errors
• How to use your inner coach to combat your inner critic
• How to respond to bullies
• How to introduce yourself
• How to make and keep friends
• How to create happiness
• How to develop an attitude of gratitude

Generally, group meets for 1.5 hours. At the end of each group, there is a parent summary where the curriculum for group is distributed, along with handouts to use at home.

Next, you proceed to the private debrief for each student and parent after the group to discuss progress.

Cost? $125 per session for 1.5hrs of group instruction, plus group parent overview, handouts, and private debrief.
